Earth Pigments
Hands-on one day workshop using forged and natural earth materials to make art pigments and paint. This workshop is great for all skill levels and will provide you with the techniques used to make the pigments and paints. Creating a painting from your newly made materials will add another dimension to your art.
The one-day workshop will typically focus on one color or color family.
Art From Kitchen Compost Waste
Hands-on class using materials from your kitchen and compost pile that creates a natural earth painters palette with a variety of colors. This class will explain how the paints are made; however, you will use a pre-made palette for the class. This class is open to all skill levels and provides you with the techniques from a variety of natural earth materials. You will create a painting from your natural earth palette using provided templates or your own design.
Art from Construction Waste Palette
In this class you will create a unique piece of art from a construction waste palette. Materials such as brick, slate, rust, etc. provide a variety of colors. This class includes explaining the steps in the process of making the pigments; however, the palette will be pre-made and ready for you to use. No prior experience is necessary. You may select from provided templates or create your own design to make a painting from your construction waste palette.
